About this event

Hello Boston FUEL User Group!

We are excited to bring back the Boston Chapter of the Palo Alto Networks FUEL User Group now that we have all had a chance to adjust to the post-Covid world we live in today! We will be once again running chapter meetings at least 3 times each year starting our first meeting on December 6th from 11:00-2:30 at the Lord Hobo Brewing Company in Woburn, MA.

This is a special event as we have 2 guest speakers to provide us with an update on the cybersecurity threat landscape as well as an in-depth discussion of the next-gen security operations center (SOC) which is all about automation, proactive security, and accomplishing more with the same or fewer resources.

The Cybersecurity Threat and the Benefit of Proactive SOC Automation

        11:00-11:15 - Checkin

11:15-12:30 - The Rapidly Evolving Cybersecurity Landscape

Robert Falcone - Unit 42 Senior Principal Researcher

        12:30-12:45 - Break, lunch served

        1:00-2:00 - The Next-Gen Proactive SOC

Joshua Costa - Director PM - Cortex

        2:00-2:30: Open Discussion/Q&A

As always, the user group meetings are meant to be a fun interactive discussion among networking and security professionals with the goal that we are all just a little bit smarter after this meeting. Therefore please bring topics you would like to discuss as well... we will try to cover your interests as much as possible given the time we have.

Food and drinks will be provided during the meeting.

Register today to hear some great presentations, network with other users in your area, and share best practices.

If you have any questions, please reach out to fuel@fuelusergroup.org.

Thank you and look forward to seeing you at Lord Hobo in December!
