Session Overview: Deep Dive into Cortex AgentiX
Join us for a technical deep dive into Cortex AgentiX, the next generation of Cortex XSOAR and Palo Alto Networks’ answer to the growing demand for autonomous security operations. We’ll explore how AgentiX moves beyond static playbook automation by introducing AI agents that can dynamically reason, plan, and execute across complex SOC workflows — without a pre-built map for every scenario.
We’ll cover the core AgentiX architecture, including how deterministic playbooks and scripts remain the reliable execution layer while the AI serves as the reasoning engine — adapting in real time as investigations evolve. We’ll also dig into the prebuilt agent library (SOC Investigation, Threat Intelligence, Email, Endpoint, Network Security, Cloud Security, and IT agents), how they’re orchestrated across Cortex XSIAM, XDR, and Cortex Cloud, and what native MCP support means for integrating your existing toolchain.
On the governance side, we’ll discuss how AgentiX handles enterprise-grade control — role-based access, human-in-the-loop approval gates for high-impact actions, and full auditability of agent reasoning and execution steps. We’ll also walk through the no-code agent builder and how teams can extend AgentiX to custom workflows using the library of 1,000+ prebuilt integrations.
If you’re evaluating how agentic AI fits into your SOC strategy — or looking to understand what the XSOAR-to-AgentiX transition means for your automation investments — this session is for you.
