March Spark User Summit - All the Firewall features you need to know, and wanted to ask!

Global Chapter

As we look to secure our environments we often talk about firewalls. They are critical to the protection of our environments and we often put them on the top of our security shopping list. The challenge with them isn’t getting the setup, it’s making sure you get them setup and operational in the best setup you can for your organization.

About this event

As we look to secure our environments we often talk about firewalls. They are critical to the protection of our environments and we often put them on the top of our security shopping list. The challenge with them isn’t getting the setup, it’s making sure you get them setup and operational in the best setup you can for your organization. Too often in IT we need to get something done as quickly as possible before we have to move onto the next project. We don’t always get to dig into what we are working on and once it’s in production then it’s too late to look at all of those things you wished you had time to before. In today’s sessions the speakers are going to look into some of the features that you might not have known your firewalls could do and then you can start to see why they might be impactful to your business.

Today’s firewalls are not static devices anymore, they are dynamic devices that are no longer a setup and update as needed device. These critical pieces of your infrastructure are evolving pieces of technology that have capabilities and features you need to face the newest threats out there and these sessions will help expand what you can do with the technology you might already have. In addition to the “features, you didn’t know about” this event will also focus on real world examples on how you can take your firewall auditing efforts from days to hours with automation to improve your productivity and get back a bit of the day.

So don’t miss this event as it’s all about your firewalls, how to make them work for you and what you might be able to do to keep those ever-growing security threats at bay while also letting automation do some of the heavy lifting. So then maybe you can get that day off next time you ask!
