About this event

We invite you to a session run by Palo Alto Networks Technical Assistance Centre (TAC). This session is aimed at providing a deeper understanding and greater breakdown of the Next-Generation Firewall platform's architecture and technical components, including assistance with technical troubleshooting.

Modules to be covered (pending available time) include:

  • Introduction and TAC Support 101 - How to engage Support

  • Dataplane - Architecture: A high-level overview of hardware components and logic

  • Flow-Logic and NAT: Explains the life cycle of a packet and different types of NAT

  • Management Plane Troubleshooting: Discussion about the different components responsible for running the firewall

  • Dataplane Troubleshooting: Discussion of the different tools used in dataplane troubleshooting

  • SSL Decryption: Discussion about different types of decryption

  • GlobalProtect: Explains how GlobalProtect functions as well as troubleshooting

Note that this is an in person event, to be held within Perth CBD.
