  Ice Fishing Details & What to Bring

All fishing holes will be pre-drilled, and we’ll primarily use tip-ups, which means you can relax and socialize until a flag pops — then it’s game time. If the weather cooperates and anyone wants a more hands-on experience, we can run the auger and do some jigging as well.

Most of our time will be spent fishing near (or inside) a heated ice shanty, stocked with snacks and refreshments. We’ll transport guests comfortably to the shanty by truck or UTV, so there’s no long walk across the ice.

What to Wear

Please come dressed for winter conditions:

• Layers (based on temperature)

• Waterproof insulated boots

• Warm gloves

• A good winter hat

If you need boots or extra outerwear (jacket, snow pants, etc.), we can help arrange gear — just let us know your sizes in advance.

A valid Wisconsin fishing license is required. Licenses are quick and easy to purchase online through the Wisconsin DNR at GoWild.wi.gov
